A little bit about me

Hello! I am Jessica. Welcome to my story.

All of the personal struggles I have met in my life so far, have led me here. My purpose for the last 13 years has been to learn first….which has always created a drive to share it with others. What brings us back to health has many, many answers, and they all may apply.

Part of who I am includes the title of wife, mother, health enthusiast, writer, creative thinker, gardener, science/nature explorer, self-taught chef, and much more. I know a lot of stuff about plants. I grow mushrooms, have bees, am an avid reader, and distrust technology. I never broke up with magical thinking. I believe we all come here to endure challenges meant to break us in order to lead us to our true potential.

What got me here began with understanding the far reaching symptoms of PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome) that I struggled with as a young woman. Twenty years ago doctors were not well versed in this issue which caused me to go searching for answers I knew were hiding in plain site. When I went back to school for nutrition, I learned food science first. But I also learned about herbs, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, strategic dietary theories, genetics, and principles around food that gradually transformed my outlook on self-health. As I applied more of what I was learning to how I lived, my health greatly improved. Even more profound was how my eyes were opened to the universal need for what I was learning. People are sick and that is not by some mysterious accident. Our food and health care system is designed this way.

The principles that I learned to free myself from my own disease can be applied regardless of the ill. Everyone is responsible for their own health, their own body, and their own mind. When we learn how to opt out of processes that make us sick we are given the opportunity to be liberated and transformed into the best version of ourselves.

I cannot heal you. I cannot do the work for you. But I can honor your own healing journey and share with you the tools that leveled me up. It starts with food education but it can become so much more.

Thanks for visiting me here. Have questions? Send me an email.
