Kale Chips

Kids LOVE kale chips. This snack makes a great alternative for popcorn.

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches of kale

  • 1 teaspoon of salt

  • 1-2 teaspoons of fresh cracked pepper

  • 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil

  • A pizza stone or stone baking sheet

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 250◦

  2. Remove large veins from kale leaves and tear into palm sized pieces. Toss kale with olive oil, salt and pepper and spread out pieces onto a cookie sheet in single layer.

  3. Roast kale for 45-60 minutes until crispy.
