Tomatillo Salsa

 

Fast and easy. Use as a dressing, a sauce for chicken or fish, or a salsa.

Serves: 1 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 tomatillo, chopped

  • ¼ cup cilantro, chopped

  • 1 can diced green chilies

  • Fresh lemon or lime juice to taste

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients together in a food processor or blender and blend to a puree. Salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with green onions to serve.

Notes

Try blending in half an avocado to make a creamier dressing, or folding in a whole, cubed avocado to make a chunkier salsa.
